Odilo, age 43, has a 14-year-old daughter who is his greatest motivation and inspiration. He is considered to be a responsible and hard-working man.
For 15 years he has had his business of [selling] cacao dry and in pulp. It is for this reason that his greatest challenge is to improve his production and quality of cacao. At the same time, his great dream is to modernize the cacao [production], improving his yield. In addition to this business, his other source of income is raising and selling cattle.
He will use the Kiva loan to maintain his cacao in order to have a product of quality and [sell it at a] fair price. For this, he needs to do weeding and [apply] compost.
