08- Kabilo Group's story

These 9 women from the same locality joined the group, which was set up in June 2009. They work in petty trade to achieve a degree of autonomy.

Madame Mariama, aged 29, with her hand raised in the photo, is the group's leader. She is married with 2 children.

With her new loan, she plans to buy vegetables to sell.

Once she has made a profit, she will look after her personal needs and those of her children.
