Asylkul's story

The lovely Asylkul is 58 years old, a married mother of six. She received a secondary education, and derives her main contribution to the family income from her sewing, while also raising livestock since 2014. Thanks to her hard work and her husband's help with the farm, it presently comprises five cows and an irrigated 4.8-hectare plot of land on which she grows clover. The area attached to her home provides all the conditions for the raising of livestock, and the place where she lives is eminently well suited to livestock breeding.

In order to develop her farm further, Asylkul is seeking support from Kiva in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS), to buy livestock. Her goal in this is to increase her livestock headcount. This will unquestionably help enhance the farm's productivity and, consequently, the income it brings in. Asylkul is hoping to achieve her desired result and create a better life for her family.
