A loan helped to buy groceries and the necessary goods for her home-based trading business.

Khawlah's story

Khawlah, a Jordanian woman in her thirties and a mother of four children, has a husband who works in the military. The family was surrounded by financial challenges; both parents were extremely worried about their children’s future and that they may not be able to support them through the hard times. However, she promised herself not to stand still, and she started her home-based trading business to improve the family’s financial situation and to be released from the worries in their life. She asked for a loan of 400 JOD to buy groceries and the necessary goods for her business, which has brought her peace and comfort.
