The lovely Gulzat sends greetings from Talas Region and thanks Kiva and the lenders for the financing she received earlier. Now, in order to develop her business further, Gulzat has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle and smaller livestock.
Gulzat is a married mother of two. College educated, she makes her main living as a schoolteacher but has also been raising livestock and growing crops for several years. Thanks to Gulzat's hard work and her husband's help with the farm, it presently comprises two bulls and 20 sheep.
The income generated by this loan will help enhance the farm's productivity and, consequently, the income it brings in. Gulzat is hoping to achieve her desired result and create a better life for her lovely children.
