A loan helped to buy corn for her business making tortillas.

María Magdalena's story

María is a woman who seeks to improve her dreams every day. She is 46 years old, married, and the mother of three grown children. She lives in a hot place called Aldea Chocolá.

Some years ago a marvelous thing happened in María's life. She started her business selling tortillas made by hand with much love and care for the people in her community. She feels fortunate because the earnings from her business help her husband with the expenses required by their home.

Seeing the need to continue injecting capital into her business, María comes with complete confidence to the Asociación ADICLA to seek a loan and invest it in the purchase of corn so she can continue making delicious tortillas. She anxiously hopes for this opportunity that will help her to continue to grow as a small business owner.
