A loan helped to buy a dairy cow.

Blanca Senaida's story

Blanca, 72, is an enchanting elderly lady and is a very kind person. She lives with her husband who always helps with the farm work. She says that before parents used to prioritize teaching a child to do farm work and working the land over getting an education, so she only has primary studies.

Blanca and her husband continue working in agriculture and raising animals. Even through she does not have the same physical strength she still has the desire to work within her limits.

She has a dairy cow and is applying for a loan to help buy another cow to increase milk production and sell directly to customers.

Blanca is grateful to be included despite her advanced age, since the loan gives her the opportunity to strive with dignity to achieve a good retirement.

With the earnings from the sale of milk she will improve the roof of her house since it has old tiles and cracks where the water leaks in when it rains.
