A loan helped to buy ingredients such as corn and maize and start selling chicken tamales.

Elsy Nohemi's story

Elsy has a high school education. Currently she is single and lives with her parents. She earns her living selling corn tamales, a job she's been doing for three years. She learned how to do this work from her parents, and her schedule is 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Her mother is also involved. In addition Etsy provides a service mixing tortilla dough in her mill.

She needs the loan to buy ingredients such as corn and maize since she wants to expand to sales of chicken tamales. Her dreams are to see her business grow and to obtain needed income for her family.
