08-Bonna Wakily Group's story

This group was set up in October 2009 by the women in the village who all share the same values of mutual support and generosity. They all run small businesses. Madame Gnaling, who has her hand raised in the photo, is the group leader. She is 26 years old, married and mother to 3 children. She owns a restaurant. With her latest loan, she is planning to buy some rice, meat, fish, seasoning and other foodstuffs for her restaurant. The money made will allow her to buy some livestock and to provide for the personal needs of her family.

In this group: Coumba, Diyel, Safietou, Gnaling, Fatou Bintou, Sire, Oumy
