A loan helped to buy vegetables, condiments, bread, and meat to prepare tamales and chicken sandwiches for sale.

Glenda Evelin's story

Glenda has opted to ask for a new loan because she thinks it's the right time to strengthen her business's inventory. She will invest in buying vegetables, condiments, bread, and meat to prepare tamales and chicken sandwiches for sale.
She says that thanks to the previous financing, she has been able to keep working and generating income for her family's subsistence. Today she is selling chicken sandwiches, a business she does twice a week. She still sells tamales; she has been able to increase her sales and earnings with this work. Glenda is still supporting the same family group, but she says that one of her daughters has already finished high school, and that, thanks to the fact that her business is more profitable, she will be able to pay for her daughter's university studies so that she will become a professional.
