Arcelia Virginia's story

Arcelia is an older adult woman, 62 years old, who lives in a relative's house in the sector of El Balzar. She is a friendly person and enjoys a good sense of humor. She is a widow and makes a living from a store she started in 2011.

Arcelia is happy to be able to generate her own income as this allows her to sustain herself and support her grandchildren. She seeks her first loan to better outfit her store. For this, she needs to purchase display cases, shelving, and a larger assortment of groceries. In this way, she will be able to offer her customers better service and, in the end, to get more earnings to pay for her basic necessities.

Arcelia only wants to have the health to be able to work and not have to depend on her family financially.
