A loan helped to buy organic farm supplies.

Camila Elizabeth's story

Camila is a single mother who is 36 years old. She has been living with her two children in a house made from wood for over 5 years. Due to separating with the father of her children, she has become the head of the household. She grows bush beans and pole beans. She is very experienced in this trade and gives her crops the edge by maintaining them with organic fertiliser and compost, meaning that her produce is healthy and good for the health of the consumers. Camila would like to receive a loan to buy organic farm supplies and more seeds in order to expand her crop and be able to plant on a plot of land which a relative has lent to her. In this way she hopes to increase her income so that one day she will be able to have a small house made from cement which is more comfortable for her children, and to also be able to provide them with a good education.
