A loan helped to buy a double milked cow.

Jacinto Arturo's story

Jacinto is 50 years old and lives in a wooden home in the town of El Moral. He is in a common law marriage and doesn't have any children dependent on him (they are all older). Jacinto did not finish his studies and and only went through secondary school.
Jacinto dedicates his life to agricultural work. 10 years ago, he began investing in raising livestock for the production of milk and creation of artesian cheeses.
Jacinto is asking for a Kiva loan to buy a cow with which he will be able to augment his milk production. His objective is to be a great producer of cheese and be able to live a dignified life off the proceeds of his business. His plan to improve his quality of life is to build a new home with more resistant materials such as concrete blocks.
