A loan helped to pay for seedlings and school fees.

Presilla's story

Presilla is a 52-year-old mother of five children, two of whom are in school. She is married and her husband travels overseas for seasonal jobs. She resides with her family at a remote area south east of Efate, which is roughly 15 minutes from town. Three of her children are still in school. She currently sells her fresh garden products at the local market to make ends meet.

She started her business 5 years ago with inspiration from her husband. She strives to sustain her family's daily life with her business. Her dream is to extend her current family home. Her current plan is to increase her garden harvest to match consumer demand. Moreover, she intends to pay for her children's school expenses, but she cannot achieve her goal because she is financially strained.

Presilla is requesting a loan to pay for seedlings and school fees. With her earned income, she will cover the household essentials and save for the future. Through this loan, she is empowered to grow her business and secure a brighter future for her children.
