Jairo is 53 years old and has five children who are his greatest motivation and inspiration. He lives with his partner who is a homemaker. They are both moving forward to improve their quality of life.
Jairo considers himself to be a hardworking and responsible man. For 20 years, he has had a business growing and selling corn. For this reason, his biggest challenge is to combat crop pests so that he will not have problems with output. Likewise, his main dream is to increase production and to grow crops. In addition to this business, his other source of income is his work as a day laborer.
Jairo will use his Kiva loan to purchase soil amendments for cacao in order to have high-quality products.
