A loan helped to acquire chicken, hens, cracked corn and compound animal feed.

Ligia Iralda's story

This is Iralda, a humble and determined woman of 45 years old. She lives with her mother whom she loves as though she was her little daughter, since she did not get married and has decided to care for her mother. They have their own home which her mother gave to her. For 15 years she has earnt her living breeding free-range hens. To feed them well and care for them, Iralda takes then out every day to nearby pastures to graze on mosquitoes and worms. She also gives them cracked corn and animal food concentrate which makes them ready to sell in no time. Iralda is applying for this loan to acquire more chicken, hens, cracked corn and compound animal feed. This will help her to have more animals to sell in the peak season.
