A loan helped a member to purchase livestock.

Basbubu's Group's story

Basbubu M. is the leader of this group. She is a resident of Kadamjai, a small town in the south of Kyrgyzstan. She is 45 and unfortunately she is a widow. She has raised two sons and two daughters. The first son went to work in Russia, the daughters are students and the second son is preschool age (under seven).

In order to earn money to meet her family's needs, Basbubu a year ago, with the initial investment of 15,000 soms, started to breed livestock animals. She resells them at the higher price after she has fattened them. In this way, she earns 4,000 soms per month. She applied for the loan because she needs money to increase the number of livestock. In the future, Basbubu hopes to expand her business and save money to support her children financially.
