Le'ontine's story

Le'ontine was born in 1966, and now has three children with her husband Mathieu. Although she is uneducated, her children have had the chance of an education.

Le'ontine runs a small hardware store out of her home, which she supplies from the Tokpa market, the largest in Benin. It is now 10 years since she started this store.

With this loan, her fourth from ALIDE, she will purchase new stock to resell at her store. Her aim is to develop her business further in the future.
