Alicia Rosa's story

Alicia Rosa is 35 years old, of Venezuelan nationality, and came to Ecuador in 2019. Due to the hard situation her country was going thorugh, she made the hardest decision of her life. She left her country for a place she didn't know, with nothing but the strong desire to get ahead for her family.

She always had the dream to open up her own business, to have the income that her family needed, so that she could have a better future and life plan. She is always grateful to this country for the friendships and the opportunities it has presented her.

She started to prepare fast food from her own kitchen, first for people she knew and in her community. When she noticed the good reception that her food got, she decided to take another step forward and start selling her food to the general public. Little by little she started buying kitchen utensils and she always counted on the support of her husband, who works as a manager of a shop in the city.

She currently has a fix customer base, thanks to the good quality of her dishes and pizzas. This loan will be used to modernize her business and improve the appearance of her premises.

She and her husband are very grateful to this country, which has given her many opportunities to get ahead.
