Chelangat's story

Chelangat is a 29-year-old married woman blessed with two children. She joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2016 to benefit from the enterprise development, financial management, and record keeping training.

She has a poultry-farming business. She is borrowing a Kiva loan to purchase poultry feeds, which will help her improve production and thus increase her income. She intends to use the anticipated income to buy food for her family and pay school fees for her children.
