A loan helped to buy fertilizers and urea for crops.

Norma Yolanda's story

Norma lives with her family. She is a hard-working, exemplary, honest, responsible, honest woman. She works at home and is well known for her job.
Her main source of income comes from agriculture (basic grain crops) and she has more than 5 years of experience in this field. She currently has 5 manzanas of corn of the olotillo variety and 1 manzana of beans of the white pod variety.
Norma is requesting a loan to buy fertilizers and urea for her crops to provide good maintenance and obtaining better profits.
Her dream is to expand her agricultural activities and generate better income.
Norma is very pleased with the kindness and good treatment she has received from Prisma and Kiva. She is very grateful for the support received.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Nicole Allen.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
