A loan helped to buy bean seeds and livestock.

Elmira's story

Lovely Elmira thanks Kiva and all lenders for their previous financial support.

Now, in order to develop further her farm, Elmira has again applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan of 300,000 soms (KGS). She wants to purchase bean seeds in order to increase her harvest of organic vegetables and to purchase livestock.

Elmira is married and a mother of 3 children. She has a secondary education and is a purposeful and responsible person by nature. She has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop farming as the main income for her family for many years. Thanks to Elmira's hard work and with her husband’s help her farm today has 2 cows, 80 sheep and a 1.6-hectare plot of land on which she grows organic beans.

The income from this loan will help increase the productivity of the farm and thereby the income. Elmira hopes to achieve her plans and create a better life for her beautiful children.
