Ridah's story

Ridah is a 60-year-old married woman supporting a family of five. She has three children, only one below the age of 8 years. Her husband produces additional income.

She has been a tea farmer for 20 years, earning a monthly income of 20,000 KES on average. She applied for a loan of 120,000 KES to purchase farm inputs. The proceeds from her farm will be used to service the loan.

This is her second loan. Her first cycle was paid for successfully hopes and dreams for the future are to expand her investment and farming.
