Nuriyla K., 38, is married and has three children. She was born in the north of Kyrgyzstan and got married there. In 1995, she and her family moved to Belovodskoe, near the capital Bishkek. They rented a room and started to work at the local grocery store - Nuriyla as a seller and her husband as a guard. After five years, when their life became stable, Nuriyla decided to start her own business selling clothes at the local market. Her start as an entrepreneur was successful due to strong effort and hard work. With an initial capital of 20,000 KGS, she managed to develop her business and purchase a small selling venue at the market. With the great support of her husband, Bolot, and her elder daughter, Altynay, this activity became a good example of a family business. With the revenues, Nuriyla and Bolot bought a house and held their daughter’s marriage.

Nuriyla has now applied for a loan of 80,000 KGS to expand her assortment of goods. With the revenues, she plans to purchase the neighboring premises to enlarge the scale of her business. In the future, Nuriyla dreams of opening a big shop with different kinds of clothes.
