A loan helped him to buy embryos to improve the breed of fattening pigs.

Angel Rafael's story

Angel Rafael is 55 years old. He has a domestic partner and 5 children, all of them adult. His wife is a housewife. They live in the place of Pachinche of the Portoviejo Canton, a farming place of hardworking people, dedicated to farm work and raising animals.
He is a very hardworking man who looks for ways to earn his resources and with them to move his family ahead. Even when his life in the countryside is very difficult because of the lack of resources, he is able to support his family with his effort and hard work.
He works raising fattening pigs. He has some breeding sows that he hopes to inseminate genetically in order to improve the breed of his pigs.
For this reason he is requesting the loan to improve the quality of his piglets and his production. Once the sows breed piglets, he sells them small or fattens them to sell them to merchants who come to the place. This loan is to buy embryos to improve the breed of fattening pigs.
