Mrs. Sonia O. T., 25, is single. She managed to finish elementary school. She has two young children and is currently employed in the city of Tiraque which is located about 65 kilometers from the city of Cochabamba.
She states that she’s also a farmer but left this occupation due to labor issues last season. She plans to resume this activity this year, though, because she can’t leave her fields unproductive. For this reason she’s asking for a loan to buy chicken manure and potato seed for the planting she will undertake on her fields located in the community of C'uchimita-Tiraque. She will sell whatever products she harvests at Tiraque’s weekly market. She wants to provide better living conditions for her children because farming, when done well, produces good income.
