Flora Arely's story

Flora studied through to 6th grade at school. She is married. Her husband farms and raises cattle. She has four children, none of whom are dependent on her.

Flora earns a living doing domestic work, She learned this work together with some friends and neighbors. She travels 3 km on foot to get to her place of work. Her work hours are from 7 am until 2 pm Monday to Friday. Besides this in the evening she works making traditional foods such as pupusas, enchiladas and tamales. She previously earned a living working as a cook in the local school.

Flora needs the loan to buy ingredients and a stove to make pupusas, enchiladas and tamales.

Flora dreams of improving her income so she can improve hers' and her family's quality of living.
