Josephine's story

Josephine is 46 years old, from Liberia. She is married and has 5 children. They are schooling and live at home. Josephine is a high school graduate.

She is a hardworking businesswoman who sells clothes, cream, spray and other items. Since 2017 she has been operating her sales. She learned how to sell from her mother. She works Monday through Saturday and uses a car to transport supplies to her business site.

Josephine approached BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner. With this loan she will buy more clothes, cream, spray and other items to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it helps her family.

Josephine wants to buy land and build a house for her children. She is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.
