A loan helped a member to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers.

Abishizahamwe Bisoke Agric Group's story

Chriserie is a 40-year-old mother of three children between the ages of 12 and 20. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 20 years, she has been growing Irish potatoes.

Chriserie is the leader of the group named Abishizahamwe Bisoke Agric, which in English means "Let's grow together." All of the group members are Irish potato growers.

Chriserie will use her loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers. She will then sell her harvest at the marketplace to meet customer demand of the area. With the profits from her sales she hopes to be able to provide tuition for her children and also be able to reinvest in her business.

Chriserie is thankful for your support.
