A loan helped to buy more birds and concentrated feed to fatten and then sell them.

Amílcar Antonio's story

Amílcar, age 51, attended school up to fourth grade. He is in a relationship. His partner is a housewife and his children are adult and independent.

Amílcar has a small poultry farm. He has done this work for five years. To buy feed for the birds, he travels two kilometers on a bicycle. His work day is divided into two parts: in the mornings, he is a day laborer, and in the afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. works in poultry farming.

He will use the loan to buy more birds and concentrated feed to fatten and then sell them.

Amílcar dreams of having two farms and improving his living conditions.
