A loan helped a member to buy sugar, cinnamon, and other supplies for making ice cream.

Pioneros Group's story

The Communal Bank “Pioneros” is part of the Senkata agency. This group consists of eight members who are friends and neighbors from the same area. They are led by a Board of Directors in which Sra. Daysi is a part of.

Daysi is 28 years old, single, and independent. She currently has a business of selling homemade cinnamon ice cream. The loan she is receiving now will be used to increase her capital for buying sugar, cinnamon, and other supplies from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Afterward, she will make her product to sell at her business. By working in this manner, she is able to generate income to support her family.

Her aspirations include improving her quality of life. Daysi asks that the lenders place their trust in her Communal Bank group.

In this group: Uriel Rene, Diego Orlando, Marcelino, Juan Misael, Judith Giovana, Daysi, Sonia, Grover Carlos
