A loan helped borrowing to buy construction materials and pay wages for some laborers to build a hygienic toilet.

Hương's story

At 52 years old, Hương carries the weight of her responsibilities as a wife and mother of two children. Her eldest daughter has entered the workforce, while her 15-year-old child is still pursuing his education. Their family resides in the coastal region of Quang Xuong district, where their livelihood revolves around fishing and seafood trading.

While her husband sets sail to catch seafood, she tirelessly operates a seafood stall in the local market, serving primarily local residents, restaurants, and tourists. However, their income remains uncertain, dictated by the unpredictable whims of weather and market demand.

Despite their efforts to make ends meet, the family faces a pressing issue at home. The deteriorating condition of their restroom poses a threat to their health and well-being. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, she decided to ask for this second loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase construction materials and hire laborers to renovate their restroom, aiming to improve their quality of life.

For her, this endeavor is not just about fixing a physical structure; it's about enhancing the dignity and comfort of her family's daily life.
