A loan helped a member to purchase starch, cheese, eggs, butter, and other ingredients.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The committee is named Nueva Esperanza and they all got together and are in the women's committee program, where they all struggle to be able to improve themselves and get ahead for their families.

Among them, Maricel stands out. She works making and selling chipas, which are a typical Paraguayan food eaten year-round.

She is a hardworking woman who strives for her family, to be able to give them a decent life without hardships or deprivation, to be able to offer them everything she was unable to have and for them to have a better future.

She comments that she decided to form part of the group to be able to achieve her goals and, in this way, to be able to continue helping sustain her home and her family.

She asks for this loan to purchase raw materials to be able to make her chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter, and other ingredients to be able to continue with her work
