A loan helped to purchase concentrated feed and pigs.

Doris Rosibel's story

The borrower lives with her family in the village of Paso Hondo. She is well known as an honest, hardworking and very responsible person and for her business activities.

The borrower raises livestock. For six years, she has been fattening pigs and growing corn, for which she is known in the area. She currently has three pigs.

The borrower is applying for a loan to purchase pigs, and concentrated feed for the initial phase and for fattening so she can increase their weight and sell them at a higher price.

The borrower's dream is to increase her herd so it generates good earnings and for her family to be lacking nothing.

The borrower is very pleased with the kindness and good treatment she received from Prisma and Kiva. She is very grateful for the support she has received.
April 2024.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
