A loan helped to renovate their farm to accommodate more livestock.

Lệ's story

Mrs. Lệ, a 39-year-old woman, lives in a remote mountainous area of Cam Thuy district with her husband and two children, aged 13 and 11. They belong to an ethnic minority group. Her husband works as a construction worker, earning an unstable income, while she makes "gio, cha" (a type of Vietnamese sausage made from ground pork or beef, mixed with various spices and herbs, then steamed) to sell to locals in the area. Additionally, they raise a small number of chickens and pigs to supplement their income.

With a desire to improve their livelihood, Mrs. Lệ and her husband plan to renovate their farm to accommodate more livestock. However, they lack the necessary funds for this endeavor. Therefore, Mrs. Lệ has asked for this 7th loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase construction materials and hire workers to renovate their farm.

Looking ahead, Mrs. Lệ hopes to expand their farm further, raising more livestock to enhance their family's income. Despite the challenges they face, she remains determined to provide a better future for her family.
