A loan helped to purchase more animals to inflate her sales.

Zaib's story

Financial constraints alongside the want for a better life and good quality education for her four children are only a few but valuable factors that encouraged Zaib to start her business selling animals by taking a loan from Kashf Foundation.

Zaib is a 53-year-old married woman. She buys animals like baby goats and calves at low prices, brings them up, and then sells them in the market at higher prices. She makes enough through her business to contribute to the family income. She also sells milk to generate additional income.

Zaib needs to improve her business to bear her household expenses. For this reason, she contacted Kashf Foundation and applied for a loan of PKR 100,000 to purchase more animals to inflate her sales. She is very experienced and has good contacts in the market. With this loan, she will expand her business and income level.
