Monica Rocio's story

Mónica is 32 years old, an industrious and humble person, and lives with her father and six year old son whom she is raising as a single mother. She has been making her living as a farmer for four years. The support of Banco Vision Fund Ecuador was very important for her to be able to start sowing a crop. Her goal is to have several crops of different products and growing cycles in order to have a productive and economic business.

Mónica is requesting a loan to buy the necessary farm supplies to properly care for her potato crop as it is a sensitive to pests and changes in the climate. She hopes to become a wholesale producer and to generate jobs for workers.

As a good mother she works to give her son everything necessary for his physical and mental development and hopes to see him have a career.
