A loan helped to buy cooking pots, plastic containers, an industrial stove, and corn, and to pay for the adaptation of a delivery cart.

Edwin Alberto's story

Edwin is 31 years old, has two children, is married, and lives in the municipality of Santa Fé De Antioquia.

His biggest dream is to pay for the education of his children. He makes a living in his food product business. He sells "mazamorra" [a corn pudding] in the municipality of Santa Fe. He has done this for several years, independently and with great tenacity.

Edwin is a very hardworking and resilient person who, in spite of the difficulties that come up, like the long commute from home to work, works hard in his business to do everything he can to keep growing and improve his conditions.

He is now requesting a loan in order to buy cooking pots, plastic containers, an industrial stove, and corn, and to pay for the adaptation of a delivery cart. With this investment, Edwin will be able to continue selling his mazamorra and improve production times, which will allow him to have more time with his children. Even though his work is exhausting, Edwin earns the income necessary for the sustenance of himself and his family.
