The Community Bank called "La Union es la Fuerza" is part of the "Agencia Panamericana", the group comprises 8 members who are friends and neighbours in their area. Maria is a member of the Board that manages the group. Maria is 45 years old, she is single with two children. Currently she has a business selling blankets from her home. The loan that she will receive will be used as working capital to buy wool and other items from wholesalers in the city of La Paz. This will subsequently be manufactured and sold from her shop. This work allows her to generate an income to provide for family, her goal is to improve her quality of life. Maria asks for continued confidence in her Community Bank. The Covid-19 pandemic is the reason why only the Board members appear in the picture.
