John's story

John’s story is one of resilience and ambition. A refugee from South Sudan, he found solace in Uganda, where he started his milling business amidst the aftermath of civil war. Since 2017, his grinding mill has not only provided for his family but also served as a communal staple.

With aspirations to buy more maize and dry cassava, John seeks a loan to expand his capacity. His vision is clear: to enhance his livelihood and foster financial inclusion, ultimately aiming to empower fellow refugees by establishing another grinding mill.
