Sophie's story

Sophie is a 45-year-old business woman who sells fish for a living. She lives with her husband and her four children in a rural community, southeast of Efate, which is a 35-minute journey to town. Her children are aged 18,11,10 and 6 years. All of her children are school going. Her husband is self-employed. Five years ago, Sophie started her business, with the support and motivation from her husband. Her business aims to support her family with their daily necessities. Her dream is to grow her business and build a permanent home for her family. Currently, she wants to purchase a large Esky to increase her fish supplies and meet the demands of her customers. However, she cannot achieve her goal due to financial restraints. Sophie is requesting a loan to purchase a large Esky. With her earning, she plans to manage her household necessities, pay her children's school fees, and save for the future. She hopes that the loan will help her expand her business and offer a better future for her children. Sophie needs the support of the lenders!
