A loan helped to purchase more cloth for selling.

Sa's story

Sa M., age 50, is a local cloth vendor in Phnom Penh. Sa M. sells cloth retail to passersby from village to village around her community. Most of her buyers need her cloth to use for their uniforms and for decorating. She makes a profit of approximately $3 per day from her investment and contributes her income to provide her family daily food. Her husband assists her in selling cloth. Sa M. has four children: two are married and two are students, who also help sell her product when they are not studying. Sa M. is asking for a loan to purchase more cloth to sell in order to gain additional profit.
