A loan helped to buy fertilizers and organic insecticides for the crops.

Jamileth Lilibeth's story

Jamileth Lilibeth is 27-years old. She is in a common-law marriage and has 2 children, ages 9 and 2. Her husband is a farmer. They live in 24 de Mayo, a place full of vegetation where the people work mostly in agriculture, raising animals and selling their produce.

She is a very hardworking woman who looks for a way to get earnings to take care of her expenses and also help her family to get ahead. From a young age, she learned to love and work the land. Together with her husband, they work in agriculture. They have several hectares of corn crops. The crops are currently in full development and they need to be fertilized and cleaned to prevent disease from affecting the crops.

She hopes that with the help from the loan, she will improve her crops and, therefore, get a good harvest. She uses fertilizers and insecticides that do not contaminate the environment. This loan is to buy fertilizers and organic insecticides for the crops.
