Princess's story

Meet 36-year-old Princess, from Liberia. She is living together with her partner along with 1 child who is 6 years old. Princess is a high school graduate. She runs a business where she prepares cooked food and also sells drinks. She has been operating her business for six years. Princess started the business with her own savings and learned how to sell from her sister. She uses a car to transport support to her business site. To continue selling, Princess requested a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner, to buy more ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked food and drinks to sell in order to meet her customers demand. She likes her business because it gives her money on a daily basis. She wants to buy land in the future. Princess is highly grateful for the financial support BRAC and Kiva have rendered.
