A loan helped to buy a special oven for making aluminum cups.

Sirle Yucnay's story

Sirle Yucnay is 47 years old, of Venezuelan nationality, and came to the country in 2018. They were experiencing a difficult economic crisis in her country, so they moved with a better future in mind for her children and to help her relatives.

She is a licensed public accountant, and her husband is an agricultural engineer. It was difficult for them to find work in their professions, so when 3 years ago they were given the opportunity to work selling sausages, they took it. Then she started working in an accounting office to develop her skills and knowledge.

Ever since the pandemic, she has been without work. Thanks to God, her husband has been working at a food company, which has kept them afloat during those hard pandemic months. When the economy started to reopen, she found work as an administrative employee at a company that makes aluminum products. The managers at this company have helped her and given her many opportunities. Her husband was working for very little pay, so he was given the opportunity to learn to make aluminum cups. The manager supported him to learn making the cups. With savings, they decided to start this business.

Currently, they already have the fabrication machinery and many clients who constantly order from them.

She is very happy in Ecuador, and says it is a country of opportunities.

This loan is destined to be used to buy a special oven for making aluminum cups.
