La Esperanza Tierras Blanca Group's story

Maribel is thirty-nine years old, partnered, and the mother of three children. She is a basic grains farmer and began working on the land her mother left her, which she works with the support of her life partner. In addition, she gets other income from selling tortillas and enchiladas.

She asks FUNDENUSE for a loan using Kiva funds to purchase agricultural supplies to maintain her crops. She is part of the solidarity group La Esperanza Tierras Blanca with Bismark and José, who work at the same economic activity.
