Temaleti's story

Her name is Temaleti and she is the mother of four. She is married to a farmer; they live in their own home. Temaleti weaves with a group of women, who weave taovala (symbolic mats) and fihu (fine mats), then they sell them to local and overseas customers. In their weaving, they use both white and brown pandanus.

Temaleti's business problem is the lack of pandanus. With this loan, she will be able to buy pandanus for her weaving. Temaleti believes that her loan will improve her business and her family's life.
