A loan helped a member to buy corn flour, fat, eggs, milk and other ingredients.

Virgen Del Carmen Group's story

The committee Virgen del Carmen was formed when one of the members invited the others and motivated them to work as a team. Now they all help one another in order to get ahead. They are also part of the Poverty Stoplight programme.
One of the members of the group is Gloria Concepcion. She is married and has two children. She has a business selling cooked cassava and Paraguayan soup which she makes herself and sells from her home as it is in a good location for sales.
She is a hard-working person who started working when she was very young, so she is not afraid of the challenges and tries everything.
She is requesting this loan to buy corn flour, fat, eggs, milk and other ingredients in order to continue making and selling her products.
She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the group and therefore to be able to invest in her business and improve it.
Note: the child in the photo is the daughter of one of the members of the group who are signing this loan.
