La Fortaleza De Prisma Group's story

The La Fortaleza de Prisma group, made up of eight members, is in its third cycle. In the photograph appear the members of the board of director: the president, the treasurer, and the secretary. They are happy to continue as a team, working for a better future.

Fortunata is 47 years old, she is separated, has three children who are the engine that drives her and her motivation to keep moving forward. She considers herself to be a hard-working and responsible woman. She has had a cacao-selling business for the last 15 years, her biggest challenge is increasing her cacao production.

Her biggest dream is to have more hectares for her cacao crops. In addition to this business, her other source of income is her work as a day laborer and raising chickens. She will use the Kiva loan for maintenance of her plot of cacao crops and to buy compost to be able to have a quality product.
