Sylvia's story

Sylvia is 28 years old. She is married supporting five children in the family who are below 18 years of age. She is a mixed farmer whereby she does potatoes, maize business for the past 10 years, earning an average income of KES.15,000 per month.

This is the first borrowing with Vision Fund Kenya of KES.100,000. She intends to use the loan to purchase farm inputs like fertilizer and maize seeds for her business.

This will increase on her sales, thus generating more profits. The anticipated profits will be used to expand the business. Her hopes and dreams for the future are to expand on the current business and educate her children.
